Museum und Forum Schloss Homburg I Schlossparkplatz I Schloss Homburg / Nümbrecht
Since March, multi-award-winning writer Ulrike Anna Bleier, whose debut novel “Schwimmerbecken” (Swimmer’s pool) was on the hotlist of the ten best books from independent publishers in 2017, has been residing in Oberberg.
Throughout the spring, she was on the road in Oberberg on the historic Road of Work, talking to people about her work. In the process, questions such as “Why do we work what we work?” or “What meaning does work have for us, and what improvements would we like to see?” were discussed very individually and openly.
During the walk through the Homburg region, which is organized by the cultural office of the Oberbergischer Kreis at Schloss Homburg with the kind support of the Bergisches Land Nature Park, she will read excerpts from her work and previously unpublished texts.
The route around Schloss Homburg also takes in a section of the historic Road of Work and ends back at the castle.
Please remember suitable footwear, weatherproof clothing and provisions. The expected duration of the hike is 2 – 2.5 hours.
Tickets: 6€/ 3,50€ reduced. Registration under email@example.com or 02293-9101-17.
