The opening reading by resident Tobias Schulenburg in East Westphalia-Lippe will take place at Haus Münsterberg. He will present both his previous literary work and his plans and wishes for the writing residency in the region of East Westphalia-Lippe in a reading and conversation.
During the residency, Tobias Schulenburg will produce texts and drawings inspired by his experiences on site under the working title Ich kannte niemanden und alle waren nett (I knew no one and everyone was nice). He is interested – without any claim to completeness: How we deal with our time and get through the days, in addition: shopping malls, parking lots, queer life, motor sports, semi-romantic forest paths, fashion, faith communities, system gastronomy, flea markets (of course), office buildings, bodies of water of all kinds and their banks, animals, garbage dumps, settlements, gas stations, cross-country walking, retirement homes, twilights, ice cream parlors, power plants, alcohol consumption, factory sales.
